"Pet Proteins"

The concept of "pet proteins" is schamelessly plagiarized from the UCSD course Pharm207 designed by Drs. Phil Bourne and Michael Gribskov. Your pet protein will be assigned to you during the first course day. Most elements of the home work project will concentrate on aspects of this protein. The following proteins have been chosen based on the availability of structure(s) and sequence(s) as well as other associated information in the respective public resources. Students with a preference for a particular protein are encouraged to contact the instructor.
